Hi Paul,
For authentication failure,
do you mean that some security related parameters I set in ue.conf is incorrect?

Regards,
David Yu

Hi all,
In srsUE config file, we use the following usim info which is default value from OAI HSS DB:

imsi = 208930000000002
msisdn = 33638030002
imei = 035609204079302
key = 8baf473f2f8fd09487cccbd7097c6862
OPc = 8e27b6af0e692e750f32667a3b14605d

Does any other security parameters we should be modified?

Regards,
David Yu

Hi David, Cédric,

The initial problem is that the network is not successfully authenticated by the UE. This is because the security parameters set in the UE and network do not match. In srsUE, these can be found in ue.conf.example under [usim].
Cédric, you're correct that srsUE should respond with an authentication failure message in this case - we'll fix this for the next release.
However, the lack of a response message is not the key problem here.

Regards,
Paul
